Endometriosis affects one in ten women and can make life excruciatingly difficult for sufferers. Moves are afoot to drum up more funding for this often overlooked condition with many women spending years trying out different treatments.

But why don't British gynaecologists have the surgical skills that many Europeans have to deal with the complaint?
Kim Longlands, who has endometriosis, Robert Music from the National Endometriosis Society and Jenny Higham, a gynaecologist at St Marys Hospital join Martha to discuss.
