Ìý Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Tuesday 1 April 2003 Ìý
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, or ADHD as it is more commonly known, is estimated to affect over 350 thousand children in England and Wales alone.

Up to a third of those children are girls but because previous research has focussed on boys, lack of knowledge leaves girls frequently undiagnosed.
We speak with Katrina Walsh, whose daughter has ADHD. Then both Swedish child psychiatrist Svenny Kopp and Dr Nikos Myttas of Finchley Memorial Hospital, join Jenni to discuss ADHD in girls.
If you would like further information on ADHD, please call our 91Èȱ¬ Actionline on: 0800 044 044.
World Conference on Living with Learning Disabilities, in Edinburgh on the 2nd & 3rd April 2003, run by Mindfields. The organisation is run by a woman called Sophie Dow who is contactable on 0131 653 6235
