Joanna Murray-Smith is one of Australia's pre-eminent playwrights, with her plays performed all over the world.

She talks about her first production in the UK, Honour which tells the well known story of a man who leaves his wife for a younger woman, but with a twist. She also defends why she writes about the middle classes and the influence of Australia.
Joanna Murray-Smiths Play, 'Honour', is at the National Theatre, Cottesloe, South Bank SE1, until 27 March 2003.
