Ìý Can Women's Football Ever Go Professional? Wednesday 22 January 2003 Ìý
Three years ago Fulham Ladies Football Club was the first to go professional with high hopes that many other clubs would follow suit. They haven't. And now Fulham is to cut the funding and the women's team will only be paid if it wins. Fulham blames the FA for its failure to promote the women's game.

Jenni speaks with Karen Doyle, FA Head of Women's Football, Paula Cocozza, sports writer at the Guardian, and football player Marieanne Spacey, to find out if the women's league can ever become fully professional.
