Ìý Fencing Friday 20 December 2002 Ìý
If you can tell your epée from your sabre, you're probably one of the growing numbers of women - and men - who are taking up fencing as a sport.

...and it's set to become even more popular with the new James Bond film, which has Madonna camping it up as a fencing instructor. And even though it's traditionally seen as a very masculine discipline, there are several fine examples of swashbuckling women throughout history.
