The trouble with having a baby is that no-one warns you how time-consuming they are - and how, sometimes, they just won't stop crying.
When you get desperate in this country you can get advice from you a health visitor and you may be fortunate enough to be referred to a sleep clinic. But in Australia they've introduced residential government-funded early parenting centres to deal with the problem.
Sharon Mascall spent a week following the staff and families at Tweddle - one of the residential centres in Melbourne.
