Minister for Europe, Peter Hain, said recently that opponents of the Euro are 'drooling' and 'enemies of Europe'. He believes the Union does a lot for British citizens, especially women.
Last week a poll showed that if a referendum on the single currency was held now, 45% of the population would say No and 31% Yes. Women, it seems, are much more hostile to the idea. Only 25% of women would say Yes tomorrow, compared to 37% of men.
Martha asks Peter Hain whether women are holding back a Yes vote.
