Ìý Armour and Chivalry Thursday 14 February 2002 Ìý
What did Henry VIII use to show off his shapely legs to the ladies, and what did the Electress of Saxony have made from burnished gold as a gift for her beloved husband - the richest man in the world? The answer, of course, is a suit of armour.

The Royal Armouries in Leeds are holding a series of events and talks throughout February which explore stories of love, romance and chivalry behind the nation's most glorious suits of armour.
In honour of Valentines Day, Merryn Myatt takes a tour with senior curator, Karen Watts.
The Royal Armouries in Leeds are holding a series of talks and events from Feb 4th to March 3rd as part of a 'Romance and Chivalry' month.
