Ìý Women's cricket in India Saturday 5 January 2002 Ìý
The sports pages have been full of concerns over Christmas and the New Year about how the tensions between India and Pakistan might affect the important one day internationals, due to start on Thursday, between England and India.

In the last tour of India, just after September 11th, two players pulled out. And this week the West Indies side pulled out of their tour in Pakistan.
It does seem now that the England men's squad will go, but away from the glare of publicity, the women's team has been out in India since last week.
They're playing a Test Match and several one day matches. Martha spoke to Clare Connor, the team Captain, fresh from victory after a warm up match.
