At a ceremony in London last night Amanda Howarth was named Nurse of the Year for her work in pioneering pain relief for people who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis.
She immediately hit out at the management of the Health Service, criticising politicians for being unrealistic about how quickly their proposed re-organisation will bring benefits to patients.
She joins Jenni in the studio.
