What impact will the new president’s election have on women?
With the polls suggesting America is on course to elect its first Black president, we discuss the impact Obama’s election victory would have on women. So with Hillary Clinton’s failed bid for the presidency and Sarah Palin’s bid for the vice presidency looking like it’s headed the same way – we look at the legacy of the 2008 campaign for women in American politics. Jane talks to Margo Miller of Democrats Abroad who was a Hillary Clinton delegate earlier this year and also to Malorie Blackman.
