Iron Ladies of Liberia is a captivating documentary which follows Africa’s first female President through her first year in office as she attempts to rebuild a country devastated by civil war, and maintain a fragile peace. The film was directed by the Liberian journalistÌýSiatta Scott Johnson,Ìýand is being screened as part of theÌýHuman Rights Watch Film Festival. She joins Ritula, along with theÌýwriter and academic David HarrisÌýto discuss the film and the situation in Liberia.
