The girdled snail, is it in your garden?
Reservoir Wildlife
Thames Water is planning to build a massive reservoir near Abingdon in Oxfordshire. It will cover four square miles and contain anything up to 150 million cubic metres of water. Girdled Snails
The National Museum of Wales is eager to track the spread of the Girdled Snail. Native to the Mediterranean it was first spotted in Devon in the 1950s. Since then it has spread as far north as Yorkshire. The Museum would like you to report any sightings so that it can chart the effect of climate change on the mini beasts in our gardens.
