WHY LIFE SPEEDS UP
Douwe Draaisma, Professor of the History of Psychology at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands is the author of a new book called Why Life Speeds up As you Get Older: How memory Shapes Our Past.

As part of All In The Mind series on "Living Longer Better", Raj Persaud talks to Professor Douwe Draaisma about the way in which our brain stores personal experiences, how physiological factors affect our perception of time and whether we can do anything to control our perception of time as we get older.

PERSONALITY DISORDERS
Personality Disorder is a chronic, psychological condition which can profoundly affect every aspect of emotional life and behaviour.

Raj Persaud is joined by Dr Paul Moran, Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, to discuss the latest research into Personality Disorder and the current treatments available.

Raj Persaud also visits the Henderson, an NHS specialised Hospital in Surrey designed specifically for the treatment of personality disorder, and talks to some of the residents and staff.
