Psychopaths in the workplace
Professor Robert Hare has researched psychopaths for more than 25 years. His latest work looks at psychopathic behaviour in the workplace and suggests that a psychopath's superficial charm and ability to manipulate other people, enables them to be successful in many walks of life. Child mental health
Statistics suggest that the number of childrensuffering from psychiatric disorder (one in five),is increasing. Despite this, the government announced last yearthat they were withdrawing some SSRI anti-depressants following a review by the Committee on the Safety of Medicines. Trudy Klauber and Professor Sue Bailey discuss the effect of this on mental health provisions for the under 18s, and on other treatments and therapies available.
