BURIED TREASURE
The first national exhibition of British archaeology in over 20 years will show how much chance discoveries over the centuries by the general public have revolutionised the understanding of our past. Mark Lawson discusses the Buried Treasure exhibition at the British Museum with curator Richard Hobbs and comedian Al Murray who dug up the past with Channel 4's Time Team.

Buried Treasure - Finding Our Past at the British Museum from 21 November - 14 March 2004 and then travels to 4 venues across the UK: The National Museums and Galleries of Wales Cardiff, The Manchester Museum, The Hancock Museum in Newcastle and The Norwich Castle Museum

A book, Treasure - Finding our Past by Curator Richard Hobbs accompanies the exhibition

REMEMBERING JFK
On 22 November 1963, President John F Kennedy was shot dead in Dallas, Texas. To mark the 40th anniversary of his assassination, music critic Michael White, theatre critic, Matt Wolf and Marin Alsop, conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra look at some of the music inspired by the life and death of JFK from Stravinsky to Sondheim.
