The real sound ofÌýtheÌýUK's weddingsÌýin 2003 ranges fromÌýBhangra beatsÌýto klezmer classics to Nigerian fuji rhythms. As part of a national campaign World on your Street teamed up with 91Èȱ¬ Asian Network, jewish.co.uk, Olay (Turkish newspaper) and Focus (Nigerian magazine) in the search to discover the UK's best wedding songs.
World On Your Street and its partners have been running features on wedding music across cultures and inviting audiences to vote for the best wedding song ever. The results of these votes are posted below.
There were features on the Best UK wedding songs across 91Èȱ¬ Radio including Radio 3’s World Routes on Saturday 5 July, 91Èȱ¬ Asian Network Sonia Deol Show from 23 – 27 June
ÌýÌýListen (10'01) to the wedding songs feature broadcast on 91Èȱ¬ Radio 4 Woman’s Hour during the week of 28 July.
