Where I Play:

I have a residency in a Brighton jazz club called Casablancas. They play all kinds of funky music there and Bazeado are there every Thursday night from 11.30 to 1.45. We always get the dance floor moving. I’ve played in London at the Jazz Cafe and Cargo nightclub and in festivals in Holland and Norway but I don’t have a manager or booking agent which makes things very difficult. I’m looking for management because I want to take the band on tour and play festivals like Glastonbury and Womad. Some promoters hear the Bazeado CD and say ‘it’s very quiet music’ but my attitude is that the album and the live experience are two different things. Live we really lay down a funky Brazilian groove. Come and see us and you have to dance!
