Chris Harris, Derby England. Elton John's and Bernie Taupin's wonderful first single "Your Song" came at an age were I was beginning to take such songs to form the soundtrack of my life. Many years later, this song writing duo have featured very strongly throughout the years with their other releases as I have made my way into the afternoon of my life, though "Your Song has always remained my favourite. I cannot thank them enough for providing me with a soundtrack that I believe has actually made my very existance more Pleasurable.

Dawn - Brockton, MA, USA Elton John and Bernie Taupin are probably the best songwriting team of all time. While "Your Song" may be their greatest achievement in that it brought their talents to the mainstream, I would have to say that there are other John/Taupin songs that are just as great, if not greater. Just the sheer multitude of songs that they have co-written places them on the elite list of greatest partnerships of all time.
Simon, Middlesbrough I've often heard 'Your Song' referred to as the definitive love song... and I couldn't agree more. It can be difficult to put your feelings for someone into words. 'Your Song' draws on that and achieves what many songwriters have long since struggled to do.
