Is Live Forever the best song of the 1990s? Or have Oasis or another artist bettered this?

Freesbee. Warsaw, Poland Rise and fall of great times. As I grew up this times it became the soundtrack of my life. Just a pity no-one ever appreciated Oasis in my country the way they deserve it.
Andrew Scully, Edinburgh I can just remember at the time watching Oasis perform Live Forever on 1994's Glastonbury highlights and thinking "this band are going to be huge". Possibly the greatest single of the 90's.
Graham. Fife Only number 12- what's going on?
Joel, Melbourne, Australia Unmatchable, Balls out brilliance.
James Curran/Lancaster Genius, how can a group, from burnage, create a song which can do so much to propel music away from the early 90s love song era!!
Scott, Ottawa Three chords, non-sensical lyrics, bad attitudes: a great song from the greatest rock band ever.
Heather, Preston I'm an Oasis fan but this is nothing compared to Champagne Supernova !
Ikenna, W.Scotland. This is one of my favourite songs. It has been part of my record collection since I was 11 and at one point,I played it every day.
Uplifting music with life-affirming lyrics from a stunning band to divert from the US Grunge before it. Beautiful.
Jo Leeds This song is an absolute classic from a superb album. It transports me back to more innocent times.
mark, derby one of the very few songs which i can listen to again and again - fantastic
DAVID N IRELAND it is simply 4 mins of pure magic
Glenn, Mansfield I can't even remember the melody to this so it can't be that good. I think Oasis just happened to be in the right place at the right time with friends in the right places for this to be considered so highly. VERY overrated.
AnneL I agree with that quote! I luv this song!! It's an ace! Oasis are awesome! "Maybe don't really want to know... how ur garden grows, I just want to fly!" - it's an ace!
roger. wednesfield doesn't get much better than this.
Paul - Ipswich 'Thats rock and roll mister'
D C makes you want to do what the title says
paul from manchester this song was the song that made me sit up and want to listen to music again - we needed this song and artist since the loss of nirvana
