Preparing to carry two stones weighing 351kg over Potarch Bridge
In 1860 Scottish sportsman Donald Dinnie completed a feat of weight lifting legend when he carried two stones weighing 351kg in total over the width of the Potarch Bridge in Royal Deeside. At this year’s Aboyne Highland Games, one of Britain’s strongest men will attempt to take on this Herculean challenge. Martel delves into the story of Donald Dinnie and meets Mark Felix the strongman taking on this challenge as he shows her just how you prepare for such an event.
