PHONE-IN
The UK Government is to announce details of a compensation scheme for victims of the infected blood scandal. A public inquiry accused doctors, governments and the NHS of failing patients, and found that the authorities covered up the scandal. Yesterday, Rishi Sunak apologised to victims, on what he described as a "day of shame for the British state". It's reported that compensation payments could total 10 billion pounds.
