Wetherby 14
Join Charlie Ross for another episode from an antiques fair at Wetherby Racecourse. In Knaresborough, he learns about a waterfall that turns things to stone.
Charlie Ross takes a trip to Knaresborough in North Yorkshire to explore the mysterious Mother Shipton's Cave, uncovering stories of a legendary prophetess and a well that turns everything it touches to stone!
In Wetherby, two teams shop for bargains at an antiques fair guided by experts Izzie Balmer and David Harper. Friends Suzie and Rowan form the red team and sisters-in-law Pauline and Pauline make up their blue rivals. With 60 minutes on the clock, the Paulines pick up a pith helmet but decide to march on. David tries to ignite their interest in a silver vesta case with a history lesson about the inventor of the matchstick.
Over with the reds, a large, green, glazed frog catches their eye, but the price tag makes them hop it. As the clock ticks down, a last-minute dash doesn’t go to plan. Fingers crossed things go smoothly for the teams at the auction with James Lewis in Derby.
