Phil S & Arusha I - Days 2 & 3
In the company of Road Trip regular Phil Serrell, new tripper Arusha 'Roo' Irvine is learning fast, making money (and losing it) on the way to auctions in Sheffield and Greenwich.
In the company of Road Trip regular Phil Serrell and a 1970s Triumph Stag called Rudolph, new tripper Arusha 'Roo' Irvine is learning fast, making money (and losing it) on the way from the antique shops of the West Midlands to auctions in Sheffield and Greenwich.
Phil takes a short trip into Kettering to hear the town's unlikely connection with Jamaica. Roo also takes a break from the shops to dig up a bit of coal mining musical history.
True to form, Phil steps off the scheduled route in an attempt to buy a horse despite a high asking price from its farmer owner. Roo also isn't one to deviate from what she knows and picks up another piece of her favourite glassware.
