Amongst the objects featured are an extremely heavy Tudor table from a local pub that takes six sturdy men to move, an extensive collection of Maundy money that excites expert John Foster, and a signed picture of Chairman Mao by Andy Warhol. Hilary Kay is thrilled to see an incredibly rare and valuable 18th-century painted silk dress which has been lying in a dressing up box for over 50 years.
