Michael D Higgins visits The Queen today at Windsor Castle, the first time an Irish head of state has made an official UK visit. Is it time to move on from The Troubles?

Michael D Higgins meets the Queen at Windsor Castle today. He is the first Irish President to pay a state visit to the UK. Northern Ireland's Deputy First Minister, Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness, will attend a state banquet for the visiting president. During the Troubles thousands died, families were broken and lives were ruined but is it time to move on?
