A major security operation is underway in the US after several people were shot dead at the Washington Naval Yard.
Peter and Anna with all the latest news. Police in Washington DC say an unknown number of people have been killed in a shooting at a navy centre in the city. The local police chief says two or possibly three attackers could have been involved in the attack at the Navy Sea Systems. Meanwhile, the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon presents what he called "overwhelming and indisputable" proof that chemical weapons were used on a large scale in Syria.
