Amira worries for Syed when the flat’s targeted by kids shouting abuse, Yusef reminds her she wanted Syed and Christian to split up. Jane tells the Masoods that Christian’s innocent. Arriving home, Tamwar and Afia are concerned Yusef’s moved in. Tamwar insists he’ll protect the family, Yusef’s adamant that Zainab’s made her decision. Syed’s convinced he and Christian will still marry as soon as his divorce is final. He’s devastated when Jane tells him Christian isn’t coming back. Amira decides to move in.
Masood invites Jane to dinner but later, on seeing a stressed Zainab, he cancels, insisting he needs to put his family first. He’s furious to discover that Yusef’s moved in. Returning to Jane, Masood kisses her; he can’t just be friends. Upset, Zainab insists Yusef leave for the sake of her reputation. Furious, Yusef rounds on her. Grabbing her violently and slamming her face into the mirror, Yusef insists he’s the last man who’ll have her now.
Janine demands Shirley pay her dental fees after finding a bullet in her turkey roast. Mo and Shirley bin the remaining meat when Mo discovers it was actually swan. Janine overhears. Phil sacks Heather when she doesn’t turn up to her café shift.

Poppy thinks tonight’s ‘the night’ with Anthony. Jodie reveals to Poppy she’s leaving London, Poppy’s convinced she’s lonely and fixes her up with Tyler. Anthony warns Tyler away from Jodie, Jodie admits to a devastated Poppy that she and Anthony kissed.
Kat and Alfie arrive back from holiday and celebrate the one year anniversary of their wedding vow renewal.
