Annie Mac announces full line-up for Outdoor Stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend

91Èȱ¬ Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac revealed last Friday the full line-up for the Outdoor Stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend, the station's annual music extravaganza, which takes place this year in Carlisle on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May.

Every year the Outdoor Stage brings together the Radio 1 and Radio 1Xtra DJ family for a two-day party covering the whole spectrum of dance and urban music and this year is no exception with everyone from Annie Mac to Tim Westwood to recent Radio 1 In New Music We Trust recruits Skream and Benga taking charge of the decks. The Outdoor Stage also welcomes two of the hottest names in dance music, Riva Starr and chart-topper Calvin Harris.

Annie also unveiled this year's unpredictable but always entertaining "Soundclashes", pitching Radio 1 DJs head-to-head in a musical battle to win over the crowd with records from their collection. On Saturday it's Annie Mac vs Nick Grimshaw and Pete Tong vs Vernon Kay and on Sunday, Zane Lowe vs Fearne Cotton and Tim Westwood vs Chris Moyles.

Annie Mac says: "The Outdoor Stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend is always the biggest party stage... whether it's a blazing hot sunny afternoon or not Mistajam will have you raving and Skream and Benga are sure to be playing the most full-on dubstep bangers. There is always something interesting going on and it usually involves the huge team of colourful characters that consist of the the Radio 1 and 1 Xtra DJ family. There are soundclashes, Tongy vs Vernon, Westwood vs Moyles, Myself vs Grimmy and then there are some world class DJs too, like Riva Starr and Calvin Harris. Hopefully, see you there!"
