Tonight's The Night and Secret Fortune recommissioned by 91Èȱ¬ Entertainment

91Èȱ¬ Entertainment has recommissioned two of its successful Saturday night formats – Tonight's The Night and Secret Fortune. Both will again be recorded at 91Èȱ¬ Scotland's Pacific Quay studios for 91Èȱ¬ One later this year.

The new series will be the third for Tonight's The Night, starring John Barrowman. The co-production between 91Èȱ¬ Vision Productions and Barrowman Barker Productions will comprise of six studio-based episodes and two compilation shows. The series will be executive produced by Louise Rainbow and Eileen Herlihy.

Secret Fortune, the new National Lottery gameshow format which launched last month and gives contestants the chance to win up to £100,000, will return for a second series. Belfast-based independent production company Wild Rover has been commissioned to make a further eight episodes. The series will be executive produced by Phil Morrow.

Both series were commissioned by Controller of 91Èȱ¬ One, Danny Cohen; Executive Editor for Entertainment Alan Tyler; and Controller of Entertainment Commissioning Mark Linsey.

Alan Tyler said: "We are delighted to recommission these shows, which will continue to be made in Scotland and Northern Ireland. They are first and foremost great programmes. Their recommissions are fantastic news not only for the viewers who love them, but also for the in-house and independent production companies involved and for the local economy."
