Chris Lilley returns to 91Èȱ¬ Three this summer with new series Angry Boys

Angry Boys twins Daniel and Nathan Sims

Chris Lilley, the award-winning comedian and creator of We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High, is to return to 91Èȱ¬ Three this summer with his third series, Angry Boys.

The 12-part mockumentary will see the welcome return of We Can Be Heroes identical twins Daniel and Nathan Sims, and a host of new characters who will be revealed shortly.

To celebrate Chris's new creation and whet the appetites of UK fans, Comic Relief will be airing two exclusive clips of the Sims twins as part of this year's Red Nose Day, on 18 March on 91Èȱ¬ One. The exclusive scenes from the highly anticipated series will also be available online at .

Suzi Aplin, Executive Producer of Comic Relief, said: "I'm over the moon that Chris and Laura have agreed to let us air a teaser from their highly anticipated new series Angry Boys as part of this year's night of Comic Relief.

"We're all massive fans of Chris's previous series We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High, so to be able to include scenes from the new series as part of this year's Comic Relief is amazing!"

The series was filmed over seven months and across three continents with locations in Australia, Los Angeles and Tokyo.

Angry Boys was created, written and directed by Chris Lilley, along with directors Stuart McDonald and Jeffery Walker. The series has been produced by Laura Waters. The series is a Princess Pictures coproduction for ABC TV and HBO.

The series will premiere in Australia, followed by the US, and will air on 91Èȱ¬ Three later this summer.
