91Èȱ¬ Radio Oxford is welcoming in 2011 with a new sound for weekday mornings.
From next Monday 17 January, the station's Breakfast Show will be presented by new presenter Phil Gayle, with Oxford's Louisa Hannan.
Phil joins the station from 91Èȱ¬ Berkshire where he presented the Afternoon Show.
Louisa will broadcast live out and about in Oxfordshire every day and the show will carry improved travel news broadcasts from the studios in the city.
Recent Sony radio award-winner Malcolm Boyden will also be enjoying a bit of a lie-in as he takes over the Mid-Morning Show.
Announcing the schedule change, 91Èȱ¬ Oxford's Editor, Marianne Bell, said: "In the year that Radio Oxford celebrates its 40th birthday, I want to deliver more focus on localness, news and stories which reflect life for us living here in Oxfordshire.
"Localness, high-quality weather and travel news and our much-loved presenters are a key part of our success over the years and will continue to be at the heart of our programming in the future. Giving our presenters new shows to develop helps keep the station fresh and our sound engaging."
Marianne has taken over at 91Èȱ¬ Oxford from Steve Taschini, who has joined the 91Èȱ¬'s College of Journalism on attachment until 2012. She was formerly Managing Editor at 91Èȱ¬ Berkshire.
