Join the 91Èȱ¬ South East Auction for Children in Need

91Èȱ¬ South East is on the look out for kings and queens as the station auctions off some the county's most famous castles – all in aid of 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need.

91Èȱ¬ South East has teamed up with English Heritage, the National Trust and other privately owned sites to give some generous Pudsey pals the opportunity to be king of the castle for a year. So, forget your armies, to conquer your local landmark all you need to do is dish out the gold coins.

As well as a year's free entry to a chosen castle, the winning bid will also secure extra-special group experiences such as helicopter and hot air balloon trips; tree top adventures; treasure hunts; jousting tournaments; medieval banquets; croquet, tickets to concerts/displays; and personal guided tours.

The Kent castles taking part are: Deal; Dover; Hever; Ightham Mote; Leeds; Rochester; Scotney; Sissinghurst; and Walmer.

The Sussex and Surrey castles taking part are: Bodiam; Camber; Farnham; Hastings; Herstmonceux; Lewes; and Pevensey.

So, for a chance to be king or queen of these iconic landmarks join Julia George for the 91Èȱ¬ Radio Kent Mid-Morning Show or Danny Pike for the 91Èȱ¬ Sussex and 91Èȱ¬ Surrey Mid-Morning Show on Thursday 18 November between 10am-1pm and make sure you make your bid. For more information on how to bid and the terms and conditions visit bbc.co.uk/kent or bbc.co.uk/sussex.

Last year, thanks to the amazing generosity of the British public, a record-breaking £39 million was raised. This is currently being used to really change and enhance the lives of thousands of disadvantaged youngsters right here in the UK. So, delve into the crown jewels and help 91Èȱ¬ South East make this year's Children in Need appeal even better.

Join the Pudsey Party on Children in Need Appeal Night
