This year, the 91Èȱ¬ is giving fans the opportunity to watch two of the 2010 World Cup games with an alternative commentary via the Red Button by 91Èȱ¬ Radio 1 presenters Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave.
Chris and Dave will be commentating on New Zealand versus Slovakia on Tuesday 15 June and then Germany versus Serbia on Friday 18 June – both matches kick off at 12.30pm.
These games will also be streamed live on the Radio 1 and 91Èȱ¬ Sport websites.
Chris and Dave's unique style of commentary will be irreverent, comical and almost certainly factually inaccurate.
Chris Moyles says: "If you want slick commentary then watch 91Èȱ¬ One, but if you'd like something hilarious and unprofessional then hit the red button and you can hear mine and Dave's alternative commentary."
Comedy Dave adds: "When we say 'alternative', we mean alternative to good."
During the World Cup, Radio 1 listeners are being given the chance to go to some of the biggest events and experience the best live music of the Summer from Download to Glastonbury and from T In The Park to the British Grand Prix.
While they are there, they will also get to watch the World Cup matches.
