Radio Leeds' Graham gets on his bike for Children in Need

Graham Liver

91Èȱ¬ Radio Leeds presenter Graham Liver is getting on his bike and riding from Leeds Castle in Kent back to Leeds in West Yorkshire to raise much-needed cash for Children In Need.

The mid-morning presenter set off on Saturday 14 November, to cycle about 250 miles – broadcasting his show from five different 91Èȱ¬ local radio stations along the way.

Graham said: "Me and my big mouth! I've never done any serious cycling before but somehow I managed to agree to this challenge live on air. The next thing I knew, my production team had got the bike and all the gear organised so there's no looking back.

"It's all for a great cause though, and I've got lots of creams and lotions to combat the chafing."

Graham started his challenge broadcasting from 91Èȱ¬ Kent before setting off from Leeds Castle to London, and then Luton. During the week he will broadcast 9am until 12noon from 91Èȱ¬ Three Counties, 91Èȱ¬ Northampton, 91Èȱ¬ Nottingham and 91Èȱ¬ Sheffield before finally riding his bike from Wakefield to Leeds studios on Friday 20 November in time for his show.
