91Èȱ¬ Cambridgeshire's Jane Smith and special guest star Pudsey Bear are hosting a money-raising extravaganza for 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need at Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough on Friday 20 November from 12.30pm.
Baths of beans, shaved heads and gingerbread Pudsey Bears are just some of the ways that people have raised money in the past, so if listeners are raising cash for Children in Need this year, Jane would like to invite them to be part of the show.
Jane will be speaking to a host of guests during the day, including stars from Peterborough's Key Theatre, some of the daredevil parachuting bears from the Pidley Mountain Rescue Team Charity and, of course, loads of local fundraisers who are the real stars of the 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need Appeal.
Jane says: "It's fantastic that Pudsey has found time in his busy schedule to pop along to Peterborough for the 30th anniversary of 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need.
"So, come on Cambridgeshire, head for Queensgate and get behind the bear!"
Last year, 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need raised a record-breaking £37.8million, with £130,000 in grants going to help three projects in Cambridgeshire.
91Èȱ¬ Cambridgeshire broadcasts on 96 & 95.7 FM, 1026 AM, DAB digital radio and online via 91Èȱ¬ iPlayer.
