Plymouth-born, world-renowned dance expert Wayne Sleep will be on the judging panel as 91Èȱ¬ presenters across Devon and Cornwall take to the dance floor to raise money for 91Èȱ¬ Children in Need.
Stars from 91Èȱ¬ radio and TV will team up with professional dancers in a Strictly For Pudsey dance competition at the Plymouth Guildhall on Sunday 15 November 2009.
Doors open 6.00pm, fun starts at 6.30pm and the first dancers take to the floor at 7.00pm. Also on the judging panel will be 91Èȱ¬ Radio Devon's Judi Spiers and 91Èȱ¬ Radio Cornwall's David White.
Twelve presenters will be taking part in the dancing.
From 91Èȱ¬ Spotlight, presenters Victoria Graham, Justin Leigh, Natalie Cornah and weatherman David Braine will be strutting their stuff.
From Radio Devon, David FitzGerald, Matt Woodley and Richard Green will be throwing some shapes.
Turning heads – and hopefully not ankles – from Radio Cornwall will be Matt Pengelly, Rosie Dunkley, Debbie McCrory and James Churchfield.
When the big night arrives the couples will have only had three weeks of practice.
Victoria Graham said: "It's going to be a whirlwind of sequins, hairspray and high heels – and that's just the boys. We are all nervous about dancing in front of Wayne Sleep and being compared to the real Strictly Come Dancing competitors.
"But what better way to raise money for Children in Need – by doing something different, fun and a little bit frightening!"
Jane McCloskey, Head of 91Èȱ¬ South West, said: "We can promise people a night of sparkling fun and a few surprises as the presenters take to the floor and face the judges' verdict.
"We are asking people to make donations on the night – the tickets are free.
"Many local organisations have generously helped with staging Strictly For Pudsey and now we just need the audience to make what promises to be a memorable night of fun and fundraising complete."
Three-hundred-and-fifty tickets are available on a first come, first served, basis by calling 01752 234544 on Wednesday 4 November between 10.00am and 12noon only.
