Radio 1 and 1Xtra take to the road

Throughout July and August, 91Èȱ¬ Radio 1 and 1Xtra will be celebrating the summer with a series of very special shows, both from the UK and abroad.

The two stations have been out and about since the start of the year, covering everything from Glastonbury, Foo Fighters at Wembley, Download Festival and Radio 1's Big Weekend right through to 1Xtra Live in Coventry and UK Cup Clash.

With the 1Xtra summer shows being just too big for one station, each Saturday – for the very first time – they will be simulcast on Radio 1 between 7pm and 9pm.
