Nigel Harman (EastEnders, Lark Rise To Candleford, City Of Vice) plays charismatic businessman Sam Franklin who will set pulses racing as he checks into Hotel Babylon.

Little does he know that his ex-wife Juliet, played by Anna Wilson-Jones (Ashes To Ashes, Time Of Your Life), has been newly appointed as Babylon's General Manager.
Ìý
Franklin learns that Babylon is to be sold. As the day unfolds and some disturbing events threaten the hotel's equilibrium, he decides to take matters into his own hands. Several phone calls later, Sam Franklin is the new owner of Hotel Babylon – much to his ex-wife's annoyance.

Carnival Films's Managing Director Gareth Neame says: "It is terrific to have Nigel on board. He is a hugely talented actor who will fit into the life of Hotel Babylon with perfect ease and charm.
