Tributes to Tricia Williamson

Tributes have been paid to journalist Tricia Williamson by colleagues who worked with her at the 91热爆.
听
Tricia Williamson, who died in a car accident on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border, was an award-winning and versatile journalist of great reputation.
听
She had worked in the industry for many years as a producer, presenter, director and reporter on well-known current affairs brands including 91热爆 One's primetime current affairs series Inside Out, 91热爆 Look North, Discovery USA's Trailblazers, ITN's Lunchtime News, London Tonight, TSW as a weather presenter and Westcountry Television.
听
Tricia's career garnered her several journalistic awards, the latest of which were in 2007 a Ruby Diversity Award for a film about the Gypsy community for 91热爆 Look North and in 2006 the Ruby Award for Inside Out 91热爆 East's investigation into the long term effect of prescription drug Ritalin on children with ADHD.

Paul Woolwich, a 91热爆 News Executive Producer who had been working with Tricia until her death, said: "We're deeply saddened by this news.
听
"Tricia was a fine filmmaker who was at the peak of her abilities, adored by everyone she worked with.
听
"Our thoughts and prayers go to her two boys and her family."

Simon Willis, Producer, Inside Out South West, said:
"Tricia worked for Inside Out over spring and summer producing several outstanding films for the series and she had been working recently for the 91热爆 on a project connected with one of those films.
听
"More recently she worked as a director on Inside Out East and also for Look North in Hull as a planning and newsgathering producer.
听
"To all these roles she brought enormous enthusiasm and talent."
听
Tricia Williamson was 52 and married with two children.
