when she visits the sofa for tonight's edition of the award-winning Friday Night With Jonathan Ross on 91Èȱ¬ One.

like ladies who look like boys."

Beth reveals she can't marry her long-standing girlfriend: "'We've just moved in together [after six years],
that kind of marriage isn't legal where I live."

On her weight: "I'm over
it. I could have spent a lot of time trying to change myself, I'd rather
just be in the band and do my thing and do it well. Beauty is relative."

On
playing Glastonbury: "If you can't touch that crowd you're missing out
on everything, it's really spiritual, it's not scary."

On eating squirrel: "'You kill it, you eat it, people get ready for the squirrel-hunting
season, you fry it like chicken."

Fame: "I was worried it would be next to Lassie, but I ended up next to

Tonight's line-up also includes evergreen singing star Michael Ball in advance
of his starring role, in drag, in the West End musical version of
Hairspray.

He reveals he's happy with his new slightly larger frame
before taking on a role he never thought he would be offered.

"I gave up
smoking in February and you do put on weight. I'm a 46EEE... I haven't
done all the shaving yet... [but] I'm the spitting image of my gran!"

Michael says: "When I saw the show in the US I thought I'd love that role but they
wouldn't dream of giving me that in the UK, I hadn't done any character
roles...

"I think this is the best musical I've ever done – fun, hip,
great music and it deals with issues in a really clever, sharp way."

He
also says his recent starring role in the English National Opera's Kismet was
"shocking. I was told it would be a huge, lavish extravaganza. It had
great potential and it was just shocking."
