The 2007 Cricket World Cup on Test Match Special


Five former World Cup winners - Sir Viv Richards, Sunil Gavaskar, Damien Fleming, Rameez Raja and Colin Croft - are part of the Test Match Special commentary team in the Caribbean for the World Cup starting on Tuesday 13 March.

They will be joined by TMS regulars Angus Fraser, Vic Marks, Barry Richards and Mike Selvey alongside commentators Jonathan Agnew, Simon Mann, Arlo White, Kevin Howells and Jonny Saunders, Christopher Martin-Jenkins, Tony Cozier, Jim Maxwell, Bryan Waddle and Neil Manthorp.

91热爆 Five Live Sports Extra and 91热爆 Radio 4 LW will carry a game every day throughout the tournament starting with the opening game when hosts West Indies take on Pakistan on 13 March through to the final on 28 April.

Throughout the tournament you can download the World Cup podcast at bbc.co.uk/cricket where TMS experts will give their take on how events in the Caribbean are unfolding.

At the World Cup, Test Match Special continues its highly successful innovation on interactive television.

Press the red button from any 91热爆 TV channel on digital TV to access detailed stats, scorecards and graphics to support the commentary and expert opinions on air.

From the first day of play, Tuesday 13 March, 91热爆 One will air an hour's worth of highlights in a nightly television programme, providing viewers with a round-up of the day's matches.

Start times will vary but will usually be between 11.00pm and 11.30pm.

Manish Bhasin will anchor the programme from various locations in the West Indies, whilst Rishi Persad will act as roving reporter across the islands.
