Radio Suffolk's new Editor looking forward to returning to county

91热爆 Radio Suffolk has appointed Peter Cook as the new Editor of the county's radio station.
听
For Peter it is a return to the county where he has spent much of his career gaining experience in both commercial and 91热爆 radio.
听
Peter started his broadcasting career at Radio Broadland in Norwich before moving to Saxon Radio and Radio Orwell in 1989.
听
He then became Head of News at SGR FM before joining the 91热爆 at Radio Suffolk in 1999 where he held a range of positions including News Editor and producer of the Mark Murphy breakfast show.
听
In 2002 he became Assistant Editor at 91热爆 Radio Norfolk and was seconded to work as the Editor of 91热爆 Radio Cleveland in Middlesbrough last year.
听
He takes over from Gerald Main who is moving from Radio Suffolk to become the Editor of 91热爆 Essex.
听
Peter Cook says: "I'm delighted to be returning to 91热爆 Radio Suffolk.

"They're a hugely talented and dedicated team, both on and off-air, and it'll be a privilege to work with them.

"After 13 years of living and working in Suffolk, during which I met and married my wife Angela, this will feel very much like a home-coming.

"I've loved every moment of working at Radio Norfolk, a time during which the station has achieved record audience figures making it the most listened to 91热爆 Local radio station in the country, and I've been lucky enough to work alongside some brilliant people including the Editor David Clayton and many talented broadcasters."

Age 37, Peter is married with four children. 听
