91Èȱ¬ Oxford's Big Christmas Carol aims for Oxfordshire record

91Èȱ¬ Radio Oxford 95.2FM is hosting a county-wide bid to beat the record for
Oxfordshire's biggest simultaneous Christmas Carol Concert.

This year's Big Christmas Carol will take place on 14 December at locations across
the region and will be broadcast live on Radio Oxford 95.2FM and online at
bbc.co.uk/oxford.
Ìý
People can sing along at home or at work, come to one of the venues or accept
Radio Oxford's invitation to add a new venue to the growing list and help the
bid to beat the record.
Ìý
If you can assemble a group of singers, whether it's in a pub, house, church, shop
or school, you could be part of a live concert broadcast and Christmas history in
Oxfordshire as the whole county comes together.

Big Christmas Carol and fill out the short form.
Ìý
The main venue will be The King's Centre in Oxford, and tickets are available on a
first-come, first-served basis to those who register their interest on the
bbc.co.uk/oxford.

The record will only be beaten if people from across the region are singing in all
manner of locations.

For everyone involved, the Big Christmas Carol will
be the perfect way to start the Christmas festivities, at what is likely to be the
country's biggest carol concert.

Carol singers can visit bbc.co.uk/oxford and download a flyer and poster to help
publicise their contribution to the concert, along with an order of service complete
with the words to all the carols.
