Ticket prices will include a donation to 91热爆 Children in Need and the official programme will also have proceeds going to the appeal.

Doctor Who - A Celebration takes place at 6.30pm on Sunday 19 November 2006.

Tickets are priced at 拢20, 拢16, 拢14, and 拢10. Tickets for children under the age of 16 will be half price.

Notes to Editors

Murray Gold is one of the most inspired and uncompromising composers in his field.

From his groundbreaking Bafta nominated score to Vanity Fair to his Royal Television Society Award-winning soundtrack to Queer as Folk, Murray Gold has been the composer of choice when it comes to scoring the most innovative programmes on television.

Since 2005, he has served as musical director for the new series of Doctor Who. In this capacity, he created a new arrangement of the show's theme and also composes most of the show's incidental music.

The 91热爆 National Orchestra of Wales occupies a very special role as both a national and broadcasting orchestra, acclaimed not only for its performances but also for its importance within its own community.

The orchestra has gone from strength to strength over recent years under its formidable conducting team.

The 91热爆 National Orchestra of Wales is the Orchestra in Residence at St David's Hall, Cardiff at which it gives 20 performances a year.

The orchestra's concerts are broadcast chiefly on 91热爆 Radio 3 but can also be heard regularly on 91热爆 Radio Cymru, 91热爆 Wales radio and television, 91热爆 FOUR and S4C.

The 91热爆 National Chorus of Wales was formed in 1983. It has developed into one of the leading large mixed choruses in the UK.

Whilst preserving its amateur status, the chorus works to the highest professional standards, and enjoys a close performing relationship with the 91热爆 National Orchestra of Wales.
