Marc Warren heads a striking cast in Stewart
Harcourt's new adaptation of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel, Dracula. Filming begins this month on location in and around the West Country for transmission later in the year on 91热爆 ONE.
听
Starring alongside Warren is a line-up of some of Britain's brightest young acting talent including Dan
Stevens (Line of Beauty) as Holmwood, Sophia Myles (Thunderbirds) as his fianc茅 Lucy and Tom
Burke (State of Play) as their friend Seward.
听
They are joined by Rafe Spall (The Chatterley Affair)
as solicitor Jonathan Harker and Stephanie
Leonidas (MirrorMask)
as his girlfriend Mina.
听
Completing the main company is David
Suchet (Poirot) who plays vampire scholar and Dracula's nemesis, Van Helsing.
听
Returning to the original novel for his inspiration, Stewart Harcourt's script draws both on elements of Bram Stoker's own life and Victorian society to give this version of the vampire classic a new, modern sensibility.
听
