More T? 91热爆 bigger in Balado at T in the Park 2006

Bigger and bolder than ever before, a team of presenting talents including Edith Bowman, Colin Murray, Dougie Anderson, Annie Mac and Vernon Kay will join forces to bring music fans the 91热爆's most extensive coverage of T in the Park across a range of services.

Music moments from the prestigious festival (Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 July) will feature across a number of 91热爆 TV channels as well as radio, online and interactive elements - a reflection of 91热爆 Scotland's commitment to the internationally acclaimed festival.

Pitching their presenting tent in Balado, Kinross, Edith Bowman (Radio 1, Glastonbury), Colin Murray (Radio 1, Kerrang Awards) and Dougie Anderson (Glastonbury, That's So Last Week), will front the 91热爆's network coverage on 91热爆 THREE and 91热爆 TWO while Vic Galloway (Radio Scotland, Radio 1) and Shantha Roberts (The Music Show) will host additional coverage exclusively on 91热爆 ONE Scotland and 91热爆 TWO Scotland over the weekend.

91热爆 Radio 1 is making its biggest trip to T In the Park this year.

Following on from Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee - 30,000 people across two days making it the UK's biggest free music festival - and having rocked Coloursfest in Glasgow, the station is back in Scotland for a weekend of live broadcasts and amazing music.

Listen out for very special guests to be confirmed nearer the time...

As well as this there's an opportunity to hear the best of the live sets in a special Lamacq Live on Monday 10 July. Once again there's the Radio 1/NME stage which, this year, features the likes of Editors, The Zutons, We Are Scientists, The Kooks and many others.

Radio 1 DJ Edith Bowman says: "T in the Park is fast becoming one of the world's biggest and most popular music festivals with bands and music fans alike. Every band you speak to will more than likely tip Scottish crowds as the best and they'd be right.

"We've already had Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee and I'm so chuffed that I'm going to be involved in T again this year for the 91热爆 to make sure as many people who couldn't get tickets feel like they've been there."

There will also be an exclusive red button interactive service on 91热爆 THREE and 91热爆 TWO Scotland offering two alternative stage streams in addition to 91热爆 THREE's six-hours of daily coverage.

Online performances will be available at the click of a mouse by logging on to bbc.co.uk/tinthepark where live video coverage and highlights from the sell-out festival can be found - all of which can be accessed up to a week after the event has packed up for another year.

And, exclusive to 91热爆 Scotland viewers, there will be two bonus programmes each day. 91热爆 TWO Scotland will link up with the site for two hours daily between 8.00 and 10.00pm* and, at the end of each day, over on 91热爆 ONE Scotland, Vic Galloway and Shantha Roberts will take viewers on a retrospective look through the day's festival highlights.

Abi Judge, Producer, adds: "We're really maximising our quality coverage this year, more stages, more bands, more hours on screen and you couldn't have a better, more experienced and exciting trio of presenters - the Celtic Three.

"What's really great for 91热爆 Scotland viewers is the addition of two new TV talents in Vic and Shantha and their obvious enthusiasm for the event."
