Farah began her career in 91热爆 Local Radio and then moved to television, joining the Multicultural Programmes team at 91热爆 Pebble Mill.
听
In 1992 she joined the 91热爆's Current Affairs Department and helped launch the foreign affairs strand, Correspondent. She has made documentaries all over the world from Bosnia and Kashmir to China.
听
In 1998, Farah was named Sky Journalist of Year for Women in Film and Television
and in 1999, she was awarded the EMMA journalist award.
听
In 1999 she was appointed Deputy Editor of Correspondent and was responsible for programmes which went on to win the Grierson and RTS Journalism awards.
听
In 2001 Correspondent was awarded the RTS documentary
strand of the year and Farah moved to be executive producer for
91热爆 TWO and 91热爆 FOUR Specials.
听
