91热爆 online statistics for April show Radio 1 bucked the usual download trend in web traffic over the Easter period, averaging a record 1.1 million weekly unique user agents.

One key driver of traffic was Colin Murray's 'big gay disco dance' video that was watched 368,000 times via the site (and more than a million times via third-party video sharing website YouTube).

Easter thanks to Ring in a Day -
a whole day devoted to a broadcast of Wagner's Ring cycle. There were 29,000
requests for the live broadcast and an additional 38,000 for the on-demand streams.

91热爆 6 Music smashed its daily unique user record on 30 March, attracting an unprecedented 55,000 visitors in 24 hours.

The key driver was Pretty
Ancient, the network's celebration of 30 years of punk, including a 'How Punk are You?' quiz, which was accessed 29,000 times on the day.

The number of downloads of programmes in the 91热爆's Download and Podcast Trial grew by more than a million for the second consecutive month, totalling 3.9 million for April. The growth was largely due to the increase in the number of programmes available.
