91Èȱ¬ London 94.9FM has launched a spring and summer series of outside broadcasts
and events to ask the question Is London Fit for 2012?

The team pulls up outside
Hackney Town Hall from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 May 2006 and then continues down the
road to Paradise Gardens at Victoria Park for Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May.
Ìý
Eddie Nestor and Kath Melandri start the live proceedings from Hackney with
Drivetime on Wednesday 24 May from 5.00 to 7.00pm.

Hackney-born Jono Coleman and JoAnne
Good present the Breakfast show on Friday 26 May from 6.00 to 9.00am.

They will be
chatting to the locals and getting their views on whether London is fit for 2012.
Ìý
The Hackney Cyclists will be on hand throughout the Breakfast show providing coffee and croissants to any cyclists passing the Town Hall.
Ìý
They will also have a pit stop service where cyclists can have their bicycles checked.

On Saturday 27 May 91Èȱ¬ London 94.9FM moves on to Paradise Gardens at Victoria Park,
where Sean Rowley will broadcast his legendary Guilty Pleasures show on Sunday
28 May from noon 2.00pm.

91Èȱ¬ London will also be holding its Search for a 2012 Commentator competition.
Ìý
If you are aged between 16 and 25 years of age and are passionate about sport this
is your chance to try your hand at sports commentating.
Ìý
From Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 May, 91Èȱ¬ London 94.9FM will have its radio lounge
positioned so that future stars can come along and have a go at reading a
commentary.

At the end of the summer the overall winner from all the boroughs
the tour visits will be given a three month attachment at 91Èȱ¬ London where
they will learn how to make their own sports reports and how to put a radio
programme together.
